Bette Davis was born Ruth Elizabeth Davis on April 5, 1908. She was an American actress. She won 2 Academy Awards. Her Academy Awards were for her work in Dangerous and Jezebel. After the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, Bette sold war bonds. She proved to be very talented when she sold 2 million dollars worth of bonds in 2 days. Bette died of old age on October 6, 1989.
