King Lear is one of Shakespeare's greatest tragedies. It's best known for the themes of kinship and human suffering. There are two versions of the play; The True Chronicle of the History of the Life and Death of King Lear and His Three Daughters and The Tragedy of King Lear. Many actors have played the role of King Lear.
